Shichida School is a school for the young children, by the direct advice under Professor Shichida Makoto, which calls forth children's potential.
This school started in September, 1995, aiming to call forth the children's rich creative sense and imagination sense, their super memorizing ability and, especially, the ability of their right brain. Young children from 5 or 6 months old babies to elementary school students come to take the lesson once a week.
We have many parents reporting their pleasant experiences regarding the achievement of their children with Shichida. For example, a child who was not good at learning Chinese characters (Kanji) started to receive higher marks on exams after joining Shichida School, and other children became better piano players or better sport players by using the image training techniques which were taught in the Shichida classes.
Makoto Shichida gave a speech at a symposium in Taiwan in late 1990's that led to the establishment of the first overseas school in Taipei, Taiwan in 2000. That right-brain-interest-circle expanded to Singapore and Malaysia, and more overseas schools were opened in New York in 2002, in Hawaii in 2003, in Indonesia in 2004, and in Thailand in 2008.
Without proper trainings of instructors, thorough understanding and practice of the Shichida Method cannot be achieved. We are not expecting rapid expansion of overseas businesses. We are rather focusing on the development in reality and in name by presenting consistent sound results backed by proper support from the H.Q. We provide opportunities for instructors in overseas schools to take trainings in Japan just as the instructors in Japan are required to.
